As the Oregon Alpha Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon strives to be a fraternity of "Balanced Men", it is committed to the philosophy of "Sound Mind, Sound Body". SigEp believes that having a "Sound Body" is no less important than having a "Sound Mind". For this reason, we strive to promote athletic activity within our chapter.

 Sigma Phi Epsilon is a consistent contender for the Intramural Title every year. The members of Oregon Alpha are encouraged to participate in all sports that are offered by the Intramural Office.
Regardless of skill level, there is always a spot for a member on a team. Sigma Phi Epsilon usually has two teams, an "A" and a "B" team for every sport. The "A" team is the more competitive team while the "B" team provides a more relaxed atmosphere and allows member to participate in various sports that they may not be familiar with. A Balanced Man continually strives to have a "Sound Body" and therefore our members are strongly encouraged to participate in a wide variety of athletic activities.

Sigma Phi Epsilon hosts brotherhood events several times each term, such as 3 on 3 basketball tournaments and team billiards matches.

Pledgebowl 2008 Champions
Congratulations to SigEp for winning the annual TKE Pledgebowl. Pledgebowl is a football tournament that involves a one day, single elimation bracket. Sigma Phi Epsilon has won in 2003, 2005, and 2008.
